Job Description


General Overview

This role is based in the Materials Group Europe headquarters in Oegstgeest, NL. The FP&A Analyst supports the Finance analytics function to ensure alignment with the goals of Materials Group Europe. The key stakeholders are the EMENA Finance team, VP Finance, Corporate FP&A.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and business partnering skills.

Advanced skills in Excel and ability to work with large data sets are a must. Knowledge of HFM Hyperion and TM1/Cognos are nice to have.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports the monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, long-range strategic planning and scenario planning processes
  • Develops complex business simulation tools for management decision making
  • Prepares reports, graphs and charts of data for effective presentation of business performance / key business focus areas
  • Analyzes the consolidated / divisional Profit & Loss and Free Cash Flow Statements
  • Leads the preparation of forecasting models
  • Prepares / analyzes monthly results and forecasts for the Performance Polymers Division

Qualifications


Minimum requirement

  • At least Bachelor's in Finance, Business Administration or related areas
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a medium to a large size manufacturing company, preferably multinational

Other required competencies

  • Strong analytical thinker, organizational and communication skills
  • Skilled in proficiently using computers and related software in performing financial job tasks, specifically setting up spreadsheet formulas, linking spreadsheets, extracting data, developing graphs
  • Working knowledge of basic US GAAP concepts
  • Fluent in English
