Orange County insurance defense law firm is seeking an experienced legal transcriptionist. Applicant must reside in the U.S. This position is part-time, 100% remote and is an independent contractor position. Hours range from 15 to 25 hours/week. Transcription includes: medical summaries, pre-trial reports, memorandums, discovery and other legal documents.
Skills Required:
*Minimum 2 years of legal transcription
*Ability to type minimum 65wpm with accuracy
*Strong attention to detail
*Excellent written communication skills (spelling, punctuation and grammar)
*Knowledge of legal terminology and formatting requirements
*Must be fluent in English and have good listening skills
*Ability to complete work in a timely manner and meet all deadlines
System and Equipment Requirements:
PC with Windows 10 or higher
MS Office 2019 or higher
Transcription headphones or ear buds
Olympus Foot Controller (firm can provide)

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
