We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative to join our merchant services company. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation activities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify new market opportunities and improve our services
  • Achieve sales targets by preparing and delivering sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and operations to ensure smooth implementation of new accounts and ongoing support of existing clients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, including sales reports, customer feedback, and other relevant data

Requirements:

  • Excited to build a client list through cold calling

Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities
  • Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Experience in the merchant services industry is a plus
