Consider
the possibilities on our Neurosciences Unit, certified as a Primary Stroke
Center! You will see a variety of
patients to include: stroke, seizure, surgical neck and back and altered mental
status and patients with a Neuro diagnosis.
We also have a Neuro Vascular Intermediate patient population for
further career growth and opportunity. Our Neurosciences unit also enjoys a
fulltime 24-hour internist for consultations and a resource for information. Be a part of our

Functions in a leadership role, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team as a direct care provider and clinical expert. Develops and implements practice guidelines, participates as active and integral member of clinical pathway team, and maintains the established standards of care and practice through staff development, clinical improvement activities, and patient/staff education.
Position Requirements
REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Three (3) years’ experience in clinical area, OR 3. Bachelor’s in Nursing with Two (2) years experience in clinical area National certification required in specialty a rea, OR 5. Must obtain certification within 12 months of assuming role, if not certified. Current BLS Card (CPR). PREFERRED: B.S. degree in Nursing.
License/Certification Requirements: Yes
Work Hours: 7a-4p
Weekend Requirements: No
On-Call Requirements: No
