AES Drilling Fluids is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our new Mud Plant facility in Midland, TX. We offer a stable environment, an employee minded culture and healthy leadership. AES's Warehouse Workers also will learn to work in the Mud Plant with an anticipated annual salary is $74,000-77,500 (Starting pay is $21.75 + overtime + quarterly + year end bonuses). The facility services the oil field 24 hours. 12 hour shifts and rotating from days to night will be required.

LOCATION: Midland, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that products and materials are safely conveyed to or from storage areas or work-sites by appropriate methods (g., hand, forklift, etc.).
  • Safely load and unload materials and product from trucks.
  • Accurately count and monitor products to ensure proper credit and delivery.
  • Ensure all materials are properly shrink-wrapped for safe transport and storage.
  • Contribute to team effort by maintaining ongoing communications with warehouse office, management, and fellow personnel.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, loading/unloading area, and workstations neat, maintaining a clean shipping supply area, and complying with all Company procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Blends AES drilling fluids products to specified properties and weights.
  • Performs mud checks to ensure product accuracy before dispatching loads.
  • Checks and rolls storage drilling fluids tanks to prevent settling.
  • Assists with checking motors, equipment and strapping tanks at the liquid mud plant, when and as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Warehouse and/or Assistant Warehouse Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 2 years of Warehouse experience (oilfield related) is a plus.
  • Forklift operator certification or experience is required.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background, physical fitness test and drug screen.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Will work in a warehouse and plant open air environment, with regular exposure to drilling fluids products, (including crude oils, gases, acids, and other oilfield chemicals), occasionally, in confined spaces; and to heat, humidity, inclement weather, and noise.
  • Willingness and ability to be on call for plant operation and/or warehouse duties during assigned weeknights and weekends with the exception of designated time off; must be available by cell phone while on call.
  • Willingness to work additional hours during the week and/or weekend.
  • Overtime and flexibility is required to meet project deadlines.
