Overview:
Responsible for taking complex business requirements, translating them into technical and functional specifications, and writing SQL to automate business processes. Also responsible for SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) development and automation for internal and external reporting needs.

- Develops high-quality database solutions, maintaining high standards of data quality and integrity.
- Writes and maintains/optimizes Microsoft T-SQL queries, including stored procedures and functions.
- Designs and builds tables and views, working closely with reporting and healthcare analytics teams.
- Manages inbound data sets and creates ETL/ELT processes using a combination of SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
- Manages and creates mappings for raw claims and provider data files to organization standard layouts (i.e. consistency in table design/layout, field naming convention, and data types across the organization).
- Creates custom solutions and reports based on requirements from Operations, Clinical, Med Econ/Claims, and Finance Teams. Translates business requirements into technical specifications and designs and builds solutions using a variety of tools (SSRS, MS Access, Microsoft Excel and other BI applications).
- Complies with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
- Three (3+) years of experience as an SQL developer or similar role.
Preferred
- Healthcare industry and claims data experience.
