What does our client do?
Located in Helidon, our client produces and supplies explosives and blasting systems for the mining industry. As expected, safety is of the upmost importance and forms part of the expert training that will be provided for the first 4 weeks.

Our client knows the importance of offering flexible working hours to help parents get back into the work force. This role would suit stay at home parents who wish to work in the evening or during the weekends, or for those looking to make extra income.
What are we looking for in a Production Operator?
Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment operating machinery is an advantage. However, if you have great hand-eye coordination, can work at a fast pace, and are safety conscious, then you maybe considered for this role. In addition:
- Are reliable and respectful towards others
- Demonstrate a positive and motivated work ethic
- Attention to detail is a must with a high level of accuracy
- Be willing to learn and be trained for success
- Mechanical aptitude is an advantage
- Must be able to display a high level of dexterity
- Able to obtain an SSAN police clearance.
- This role will focus on running the EBS machine and associated work stations
- Set up and operate equipment in accordance with work instructions & procedures
- Loading coiled wire onto machinery
- Crimping of detonators onto wire assembly
- Packing assembled product in to boxes in required formats
- Quality & inspections and recording
- Perform basic mathematical equations and basic report writing
- Ensure all operations are performed to procedures and WHS and environmental requirement
