About the role:
- Design, build and maintain mechanical fixtures / jigs used to support the requirements of production and materials handling.
- Work alongside Development, Operations, Planning, Quality and Stores teams to ensure Bills-Of-Materials (BOMs), routings and drawings are accurate and structured to suit the needs of production.
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiencies of current build processes and reduce cost.
- Work with Development and Production teams to support the introduction of new products and product revisions.
- Prepare and maintain all mechanical work instructions and FAT- Factory Acceptance Tests in a consistent, structured, and standard format.
- Troubleshoot electro-mechanical assembly issues including investigation of non-conformances, data analysis and providing corrective action through engineering change management.
About you:
Ideally you have Mechatronics experience to manage the technical challenges in supporting our production. You will play a crucial role in implementing engineering changes, validating parts and products, and investigating non-conformances, working cross-functionally to resolve any production issues.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and has a proactive approach to problem-solving. You should be able to confidently make valuable recommendations, lead process improvement initiatives, and provide data-driven analysis. Additionally, you will be comfortable communicating with other manufacturing sites and suppliers, as well as collaborating with the best minds in the business. You also bring previous experience using Solidworks and with ERP systems such as LN or IFS
