Position Overview:

Monitors the systems for data quality, efficiency, operation, and data integrity and appropriately escalate issues as they arise. Identifies errors, omissions, and duplications in clinical charts and notifies the proper parties regarding corrections. Assists in system analysis and the development and documentation of new workflow processes and applications. Directs, implements and updates policies, procedures and protocols to streamline workflow, improve efficiency, and strengthen quality assurance. Job Description:

EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

1 year participating in EMPI/Chart Correction standards, processes, policies, procedures and service level agreements

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of patient privacy policies and legislation such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act).

Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Possess outstanding written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences and fellow team members.

Time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadline.

Keen problem solving ability; comfortable performing in unforeseen scenarios and quickly changing from one task to another. Effective analytical, problem, and issue resolution experience required.

Advanced knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Prioritize and delegate assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to achieve department objectives and meet deadlines.

Work autonomously, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.

Pay Range is $31.47 to $40.90 / hour. California Pay Range is $31.47 to $40.90 / hour. Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, and Texas Pay Range is $28.61 to $37.18 / hour. Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Utah Pay Range is $26.23 to $34.09 / hour.

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
