Your department:

The Market Operation and Risk unit (MR) is the hub of all operations supporting our Trading and Origination activities, and Asset Management for Europe & US. The department is responsible for all processes and operations in the Back Office Europe & US, Risk Management, New Products & Investment Support, and the Digitalization Office. The responsibility of the unit is to ensure accurate and high-quality results in all operational activities to support Statkraft’s growth ambitions.

The new Strategy and Business Support unit (MRX) will be responsible for activities cutting across MR, e.g strategy processes, performance management, improvement projects and initiatives, and own the overall process framework. We are now looking for a Business Support Manager to support us in our daily operations.


Job Description


As a Business Support Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on business support to the SVP Operations & Risk and his management team, reporting into Vice President Strategy & Business Support (MRX)
  • Work independently and deliver on internal projects involving administration, general planning, and business infrastructure
  • Developing and updating local business continuity plans to ensure information is relevant and current, conducting regular reviews and providing updates to senior management teams
  • Creating strong partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders, including working closely with managers across the locality to ensure the service provided by the Business Support team meet the needs of the individual region
  • Help create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment
  • ability to analyse data and budgets to identify and drive opportunities for improvement, implementing new ways of working and service delivery.

Qualifications
  • University degree in Business/ Finance/ Administration
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to be flexible
  • Strong customer/client focused attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to details
  • Independent and structured working style
  • High degree of confidentiality and discretion is a must
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, especially Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent English proficiency is required, additional languages are welcome
