Location - Less than 1 hr outside of Atlanta and 1 hr 45 min. to Birmingham, AL. Big city convenience with small town charm! 7 colleges and universities within a 40 mile radius.
Opportunity â€" Health System is seeking to add 2 more Hospitalists to their group of ten employed Internists. Block schedule of 5on/5off with 12 hour shifts. Hospitalists rotate through 4 facilities within 12 miles. Duties would include working at their 200+ bed flagship location and their smaller facilities. Patient census and admission volumes vary greatly depending on which facility you are working. Some of the shifts would be at night. Physicians need to be comfortable with ICU management. Procedures are not required, but can be performed if desired. Full sub-specialty support except Neurology and Open Heart. Great mid-level support at all locations. In 10 years, only 1 doctor has left program and that was due to family concerns. Very collegial group working together to provide excellent patient care.
Compensation - Salary range $200K-$210K plus bonus potential. Full benefits including: health, dental, vision, CME, relocation, sign on bonus, student loan repayment, malpractice w/tail.
