Position Overview:
This is an individual contributor position.
The Platform Services organization provides financial support to the North America Operating Unit Retail Sales organization. The Manager, Financial Services I – Retail will act as a conduit between the Sales Organization, Platform Services, NAOU, and Bottlers. This role will provide support to the Retail Organization in partnership with other Platform Services towers to help drive timely resolution to customer financial support issues. This role will include customer facing opportunities to partner with the system and will lead projects that provide proactive solutions to the Retail Team.
Responsibilities
Serves as strategic partner to the Retail Team resolving process inadequacies in support of billing, invoicing, bottler deductions, pricing discrepancies, customer programs and associated payments.
Maintain blueprints that map the end-to-end processes, including controls and KPIs.
Handle customer concerns and cross-functional escalations for delays in proactive and ongoing issue resolution.
Provide financial administrative support to the Retail team working closely with Finance and Sales leads, Platform Services, Customers, and Bottlers.
Create, manage, and update playbook by Customer for respective accounts.
Execute and deliver strategic business and financial plans for AR management in the retail space between Bottlers, NAOU, and our customers.
Lead training, education, and compliance regarding all methods of vendor set up and purchase-to-pay including: 3rd Party Direct Pays, Customer and Vendor Creation, W9s, ACH Forms, and GL Coding, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3-5 years of experience in an analytical role and/or customer support role
Required qualifications:
Effective communication and influencing skills to cultivate strong relationships with internal and external Customers
Ability to influence Sales, Customer, Bottler and Platform Services organization
Process automation experience
Strong financial reconciliation and research capabilities
Ability to carry out data analysis and reporting
Decision making skills and ability to make informed decisions with little to no supervision
Strong analytical capabilities
Strong understanding of trade contracts and funding requirements
Excellent knowledge of accounting concepts
Proficient in protecting and securing all confidential and proprietary information
