Job Description:
We seek an advanced researcher/writer who has extensive experience in Federal and state regulatory research (i.e: consumer statutes, financial regulations, etc.), and tracking and interpreting new legislation and case law on behalf of national, regional and local remodeling contractors, manufacturers, finance companies and other industry-specific entities on a very diverse variety of projects.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in legal research is required along with the ability to succinctly and logically communicate research findings, in both memo and chart format (state-by-state guides, etc.).
- This candidate is very comfortable working independently and with minimal supervision from the managing partner. Pre-existing knowledge of the remodeling or home improvement industry and how it operates is helpful, but definitely not required. Position could, but does not have to, involve article and blog and client alert writing.
- Proofreading skills are desired but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
