Game Entertainment Associate

We are looking for an Entertainment Associate to join our Game Presentation team. In this role you will support our Game Entertainment Manager in all activities related to development, promotion and execution of our entertainment team initiatives. Entertainment teams include Clippers Spirit, Hoop Troop, Slam Squad and Kid Clippers, who perform at all LA Clippers and select Ontario Clippers home games. This is a part-time, non-benefitted position based out of our Downtown Los Angeles office. We anticipate that you will work 25-35 hours per week, depending on our home game schedule. It is expected that you are able to attend all of our home games, including weekends, holidays, and playoffs.

What You Will Do

  • Assist with coordination of all entertainment teams' prop and costume distributions, modifications, and returns.
  • Ensure all entertainment teams' game information sheets are accurate.
  • Work with the Stage Manager on all pre-season, regular and post-season LA Clippers games.
  • Work with internal departments and outside companies to coordinate all entertainment teams' appearances.
  • Schedule all entertainment team rehearsals, games, and appearances and assist with monthly payroll.
  • Assist with planning and execution of additional team events as necessary - auditions, photo shoots, workshops etc.
  • Assist with marketing entertainment teams' camps, workshops, and auditions.
  • Maintain Game Entertainment photo and video library.
  • Assist Creative Director of Entertainment Teams and Game Entertainment Manager with any other needs.

Your Background, Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of marketing, administrative or entertainment experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Game production experience a plus.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate to large groups both in person and through email.
  • Proactive in nature and seeks tasks and answers
  • Ability to coordinate projects from start to finish.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
  • Willingness to travel to Ontario, CA for Ontario Clippers games, events, etc. when needed.
  • Demonstrated dedication with the ability to lead projects from origin through execution.
  • Ability to learn, contribute and flourish in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business.

Compensation

  • $20.00 per hour. This role is classified as non-exempt.
