Coco Ichibanya Curry House Sawtelle is seeking a reliable and customer-focused server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers, take orders, and provide menu recommendations
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Accurately process payments and make change using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly
- Address customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Follow all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies and procedures
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a commercial dishwasher Machine
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior server experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Familiarity with POS systems a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
