Description: Connections Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking to employ Pulmonology (Critical Care) right now, this job will be placed in Georgia. Pulmonology (Critical Care) - My client, a 300 bed hospital in GA, located about 2.5 hrs from Atlanta and near the AL border, has a brand new opening for a Pulmonary CCU Physician. This is a “new†position in that it is a growth position. They currently have one other Internist working there now and she has been there for 3 months. Before that, the department had been run by the Internist and a PA (the Internist retired). You will likely work 7 on 7 off but they may be able to do 5 8s instead. They are building a new hospital so th! e ICU has already moved to the new hospital and the CCU will b! e soon (currently still in the old building and the Internist is going between the two). You will be seeing just the Critical Care patients, not the ICU patients. No sleep, no general pulmonology, just CCU patients. At this time, the Hospitalists take all the on call.
They will consider a new grad. If they have some CCU experience, that would be great, but if not, they are willing to train.
This town is located about 2 hours from Atlanta yet has everything you could ever want!
