Hospital Employment
One Hour From Macon, GA
We are assisting a 50 bed hospital in the recruitment of an additional Internist to th! eir medical staff. Below are some points of interest:
Hospital has an existing multi physician site about 2 miles from the hospital, and they seek another physician for that site.
Group is currently seeing about 11,000 visits per year
Physicians on the medical staff participate in a shared call arrangement of about 1 in 5 or 6,
with the Internists having the ability to function as Hospitalists one or two days per week, and the remainder of the time in the clinic, and/or nursing home.
In addition, the hospital will open a rural health clinic on the campus in about 6 months.
As in the first practice model, a shared call of 1 in 5 or 6 will be in place.
This hospital facility employs experienced Mid Level providers who work independently in both the clinic and hospital setting for comprehensive patient care.
Both scenarios are hospital employed positions with a competitive starting salary, comprehensive benefits package,! incentive plan based on fees for hospital work, and, in the c! ase of the health center, student loan repayment.
Community of about 4,000 is located about an hour from Macon, and 90 minutes from Columbus.
